This June, we attended Zoho Inspire Europe 2026 in Tarragona, Spain, our first Inspire event since becoming an official Zoho Partner.

The event brought together Zoho’s leadership team and partners from across Europe to discuss where the platform is heading and how business technology is evolving. For us, it was also an opportunity to better understand how Zoho’s roadmap connects with the challenges we see every day in growing SMEs.

Several themes stood out throughout the event:

1. Data sovereignty and privacy are becoming business priorities.

Changes in US data access regulations are making European businesses more aware of a real risk: customer data held by US-based technology providers may be accessible to US authorities, even if that data is stored in Europe. That is why many organisations are looking more closely at data sovereignty and alternative providers. Zoho’s continued investment in its own infrastructure and privacy-first approach is becoming increasingly relevant for companies that want more control over their data and stronger foundations for compliance.

2. AI will only be valuable if the foundations are strong.

One of the clearest messages from Inspire was that AI success does not start with AI. It starts with reliable data, connected systems, and clear processes. Businesses that invest in these foundations today will be much better positioned to benefit from AI as it becomes more embedded in everyday operations.

3. AI agents are coming, but people remain central.

Zoho shared a clear vision for AI that supports teams rather than replaces them. The opportunity is not simply to automate more tasks, but to help people make faster decisions, reduce repetitive work, and focus on higher-value activities.

These insights reinforced something we strongly believe at Immersify: successful digital transformation is not about chasing every new technology. It is about building systems that are practical, connected, and ready to support the way a business actually works.

We came back with new ideas, practical takeaways, and a stronger understanding of how Zoho’s ecosystem can support the work we do with our clients.
